Corvettes at Carlisle
Chip Miller, co-owner of Carlisle Productions and a driving force behind Corvettes at Carlisle, announced his intention to have a 53-car display of 1953 Corvettes on the show field at this years event, Aug. 22-24, 2003, at the Carlisle (Pa.) Fairgrounds. The first 53 registered, no matter what condition they're in, will get a package of special collectible items and an award, Miller says. And even though only the first 53 registered will join the main display, Miller says that any 1953 Corvette will be welcomed in the adjoining open display. We plan to have several great attractions for those who attend. It will be a professional display and a once-in-a-lifetime chance to celebrate 50 years of Corvette, he adds.
