Reymores Vettes in the Square was a success even though the weather didn't co-operate! It started raining around 8:00 am and continued till 1:30 pm, but we still had 36 registered cars on the field! Die Hard Vetters! A Chairman's dream!
Everyone enjoyed the food and music. And the door prizes spoke for themselves just about! The local community gave very generously to the show that would help their local Downstairs Scotty! The National Donators also contributed very generously! Please make sure you click on our link to see the list of Donators and make sure that you patronize them!!
New this year was the presence of local Craft Vendors! They were a nice touch to a festive aire! They commented that they now know more about Corvettes than they ever knew!
We awarded 21 trophies and the 2nd annual SCC BAKESALE was a hit! So many great bakers in the SCC! All of this money helped us to contribute a generous amount to the Downstairs Scotty Food Pantry!!
The Jim House Memorial award was presented to Peter and Michelle Patrician of East Syracuse with their 2003 Anniversary Edition Corvette.
The House family, Owners of Reymore Chevrolet have been very loyal and generous with their support of the Syracuse Corvette Club for the past 35 years! We thank them once again for the generosity in opening up their Central Square dealership and allowing us to take over the complete lot! They have an unrelenting dedication to the BEST American made sports car ever built by US Craftmen!!!
We thank all the Corvette Owners and the general Public for their support in the Vettes in the Square Annual Car Show!
I would like to thank personally Pete Ernenwein, the Co-Chair of the show. His hard work and unyielding drive to collect door prizes and help the show run as smooth as it did can never be truely expressed! Thank you Pete!!!
Till next June....June 5th!
