SCC FRIGHT NIGHT PARTY!

A very mysterious guest!

The SCC presents the
Fright Night Halloween Party...

The Halloween party was a hit! We had 65 people there, not too many Corvettes though...I think the Edmunds 3 Corvettes were all that were seen in the yard! No Corvette Grave yards here! They were safely tucked in for the winter away from all the ghosts and goblins!

All of the guests dressed in Costume! And WHAT great costumes they were!!! We had Batman & Robin, The King & Queen, Pocahontas, a blast from the past poodle skirts and the Pink Ladies dropped in also! The Thunderbirds were said to be on the prowl. Let's not forget that rude old man that kept breaking wind and the bloody masked man! We spotted an old man, Sleepy, in the corner catching a nap and the Skeleton scared the begeevers out of folks! The alien from Space came to take notes on Corvettes for future space ship designs. The mafia stopped to see if any one wanted to make a payment on their loan. Fred and Wilma Flintstone stopped in for alittle modern day fun! A hooker and a pimp were seen working the room, the wives of Batman and Robin were dressed to kill.Spotted some pretty evil Witches! There were "candy delights" in plain and peanut! And a prisoner was spotted after her break out! Is there a Doctor in the house? How about a nurse? The scrub nurse wasn't scrubbing backs either! And your very own Webmistress was there to take notes!

Barb Smith planned events for the kids! They had a contest of eating a donut off a string and they had the chance to paint their own pumpkins! There was a grab basket of gifts for all the children. The fun was off the charts at this party! There were too many costumes there to mention them all, just take a peek at the photos and see what you missed!

The Fright Night committee appreciates everyone's enthusiasm and great sense of humor in dressing their parts! You could tell that the guests really gave some thought to the costumes they wore! The committee is very impressed with the 100% participation in a great evening!

FUNNIEST- Noah Ocasio- Frankenstein

There was a hay ride to the Edmunds old cemetery. Driver Mike Edmunds did a great job in chauffeuring everyone out in to the dark, black, dreary night! We had 17 Pumpkins entered in the pumpkin carving contest! There was a tie for the winner:

·        Barb Smith and Jon Smith, they carved some great pumpkins!

All the pumpkins were very clever and ingenious! Thanks to all that brought along their pumpkin friends! You had some very clever creations there!

The array of food was astonishing! Way too much food! We appreciate the GHOULISH TREATS! If any one went away hungry it was their own fault!

We had an ORIGINAL SYRACUSE CORVETTE CLUB BAR! Created just for the party! Racing checks and all! The lighted SCC sign was a work of art!

Susan Crowell has several dishes left behind. She will have them at the 2nd meeting in November! Please pick them up other wise; you might see them in a silent auction or something....!

We even had a visit from an OLD WAXER! He was quite the party animal. Couldn't keep his hands off the ladies! He may be old but he still has the right waxing equipment! He enjoyed a few beers and took in the sights. He brought along his own photo album to impress the ladies! He said he is going to be a regular at the SCC functions, if we'll have him!

See, OLD WAXERS don't die, or race We've heard but they do know how to have a great time!

The committee came up with some of the greatest visual effects for this party. They transformed a "garage/barn" into a Halloween nightmare! Their imagination was fantastic!

This committee was a very hard working and dedicated group!
