1st Pancake Cruise

On June 9th , the SCC joined with Generations Corvette Club from Dryden, NY and the Northern NY Corvette Club from Watertown, NY and had a great cruise to the Oswego County Airport.

3 Corvette Clubs gathered for EAA Pancake Breakfast!

This was such an enjoyable way to spend the morning...good people, great cars and warm wonderful weather! It just doesn't get any better!
The SCC Corvettes gathered at the Price Chopper parking lot in Cicero, NY, several cars from Generations met up with them there. Then they headed out 481 north, picking up a few more cars on the side of 481 and arrived at the Kmart Parking lot in Fulton to meet up with Northern NY Corvette Club! A total of 22 cars cruised down the streets of Fulton, (goodness, how the heads did turn! ) After arriving at the Oswego County Airport, they were escorted on to the tarmac area for some 'prime' parking!CHAPTER 486   EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT ASSOCIATION was hosting a pancake breakfast to beat all pancake breakfasts! What a feast!
They graciously allowed us to climb up on the roof of one of the hangers to grab a few aerial shots of the group and cars! (Thanks Eric for the support on the roof! What we photographers won't do to "get the shot!!")

Our host Dave McManmon, presents the cake!

In honor of the CORVETTE'S 50th Anniversary next year, the EAA presented a very beautiful sheet cake to us. They also wanted to show how they appreciated us being there and showing our support to their group. Such a wonderful gesture on the part of the EAA. You made us feel VERY welcome!

If you weren't able to make it, please join us on September 22nd when we head out there again for the Shriners Pancake Breakfast! See Paul Altenburg for more details or just stay tuned in to this website and grab the details! We have it all here at the Syracuse Corvette Club!

We would all like to thank the EAA Chapter 486 for making us feel so very welcome! Your red carpet treatment of us was very much appreciated! You truly know how to make a great breakfast and great fun!
We hope to have more of these cruises in the future!
